The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act is federal legislation addressing the education of children and youth in homeless situations. Our team is working on evaluations of county and statewide efforts to provide support, guidance, and expertise to local school districts as they work to implement the Act. We are also analyzing statewide California Healthy Kids Survey data to assess risk and resilience factors associated with students who indicate that do not have stable housing.
