Since 1995, the School-Based Health Alliance (SBHA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, has supported and advocated for high quality healthcare in schools for the nation’s most vulnerable children. Working at the intersection of healthcare and education, SBHA is recognized as a leader in the field and a source for information on best practices by philanthropic, federal, state, and local partners and policymakers.
For over a decade, our UCSF team has partnered with the School-Based Health Alliance on a variety of research and evaluation projects, including the National Census of SBHCs and the development of national performance measures for SBHCs.
Our UCSF team partnered with SBHA to conduct a survey of SBHCs to examine the impacts of and response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This brief provides a summary of the survey findings.
In partnership with SBHA, our UCSF is conducting the National Census of SBHCs, a tri-ennial survey that gathers information on SBHC locations, services, staffing and funding. This link provides more information on the Census, as well as a link to the survey for SBHCs interested in completing a Census.
