Sandy Ng

Sandy Ng, MPH, Evaluation Data Manager, has worked with the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies at UCSF since 1999. Sandy’s research interests focus on access to care, primarily through school health services and the expansion of children’s health insurance coverage. Her expertise is in multi-site evaluations, using a mixed methods approach of both qualitative and quantitative methods. She works collaboratively with partners to improve data collection processes and share data and findings to support program improvements and expansion. Her current projects include a comprehensive evaluation of 28 school health centers in Alameda County, a privately funded evaluation of a case management program in a school health center, and supporting the National Census of SBHCs. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Public Health degree in Health Services Administration from San Diego State University. Sandy is committed to conducting quality research and evaluation that helps programs and funders meet their goals to better serve students throughout California.
